Social Media & Marketing Executive

We are B1 Creative, a dynamic team based in Kingston‐upon‐Thames that focuses in brand led design and creative communications. We have tech‐savvy, tweeting youngsters who are up on their apps. And we have wise old heads who say things like strategy, objective and budget.

We are seeking a full‐time social media & marketing executive to create, implement, manage and monitor social media campaigns for a variety of clients beginning
in February.

Ideally you will be working for a media, marketing or PR agency and ready to embark on a new challenge in 2011.

Responsibilities will include:

• Writing engaging content that is consistent with the voice of our clients.
• Developing brand awareness and generating sales.
• Daily management of all social media channels.
• Developing best practices for social media among our clients.
• Conducting social media research to identify the best channels of exposure
for our clients.
• Recommendations for client's social media strategies including identifying the appropriate activities on the best social media channels and providing reasonable estimates of the expected exposure and success of these activities.
• Setting clear and achievable targets for our clients' campaigns such as Facebook likes, Twitter followers, videos views etc... and ensuring these targets are achieved.
• Performing social media audits ‐ reviewing social media presence and activity over the last 3‐12 months, traffic and activity from this presence, online mentions etc...
& responding where necessary.
• Compiling monthly reports of social media client campaigns against set targets, reviewing and recommending any changes to the client strategy.

The successful candidate will have/be the following:

• An excellent command of spoken & written English is essential and an understanding of producing content that is engaging in the social media space
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Be passionate about social media.
• An excellent understanding of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social
media channels.
• A good knowledge of social media monitoring techniques and SEO.
• Good project management skills.
• A proactive, efficient team player with a 'can do' attitude.
• A great sense of achievement from running successful campaigns and making our clients happy.
• Feel comfortable communicating effectively with client stakeholders at all levels.

Our clients are still at an early stage in terms of social media, although we have been building their online brands for over 2 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to make your mark.
