WHO We are B1 Creative – an agency with a 12-year track record for delivering effective solutions to a diverse range of clients from major sports brands such as Reebok and adidas, through to City of London Livery companies. We’ve been called lots of things but friendly, intelligent, articulate and passionate seem to have been repeated often enough for us to believe that they might be true.
WHAT We work in a wide variety of disciplines from branding, identity and literature to packaging and direct mail – from exhibitions, and signage to web, social media and moving image.
WHY We’re growing fast but we like to plan ahead – and we’ve noticed a little hole appearing in our team that will need a great senior designer to fill it.
HOW You can help us plug the gap by demonstrating your ability to have a jaw-dropping idea and then execute it flawlessly, irrespective of medium. You will possess strong conceptual design, layout and typography skills, a systematic and rigorous mind, immaculate attention to detail, an intuitive colour sense, exquisite written English, and an engaging presentation style.
Technically, you should be adept in all the major Adobe CS applications. You should have a good understanding of the web … and you mustn’t run away screaming if someone mentions Word or PowerPoint.
We’re looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of good agency experience. Someone who’s versatile, organised, committed, dependable, resilient, optimistic and unpretentious. You’ll be a star that is happy and willing to add your own brilliance to our current glowing constellation. Not much to ask!
WHERE Our cabinet of curiosities inhabits a converted factory in Kingston-Upon-Thames, just a 25-minute train ride from Central London and about 10 minutes walk from the river.
WHEN NOW! If you want us to take your application seriously we’ll need three things from you: first, a covering letter stating where you saw this ad, why you think you would be a great addition to our team and your salary expectations; second, an honest CV; and last, a pdf of your best work or a link to your portfolio site. Wrap them in pretty virtual ribbons and email them to think@b1creative.com. Apologies, but because we’re really busy, we’ll only be able to reply to candidates we want to interview.
